Today was "Greenberry" Shakeology day. I had it work Strawberry, Pineapple, water and fresh squeezed lemon. It was actually way better than I expected. I think I put in too much fruit as the consistency was a little thicker than I wanted but overall, no complaints.
It was the flavor I was most worried about not liking but it is actually up there among top the flavors for me now.
I didn't go for a run today. I wanted to give my legs a rest. I ended up doing my core workouts twice today. I'm doing a little more than what is listed there also. An extra minute or upping the number of reps for certain activities.
I can feel myself getting stronger in some aspects but I know others need work.
I'm thinking about mixing it up and maybe doing more workouts at home for a bit. I love running but in the winter it is almost not economical. I am too concentrated on not falling or slipping and injuring myself it sort of take the fun out of it.
I'll likely continue running (remember, I did want to do a 5K and a 10K this year!) but just 2/3 times per week and mix it up with some other exercises.
Overall I'm happy with the progress I've made and I'm proud of myself for sticking with exercising so far. I'll eventually post some pictures of how I look but for now, I wanted to keep it to myself and any close family. Once it has been a few months and if there is a larger change I'll post before and after pictures.
